Senior Digital Advertising Specialist (Sales)

As a member of the marketing team, you will execute marketing campaigns on our digital channels and expand on our marketing mix to help meet our leads and sales targets. As an internal subject-matter expert, you will be part of the strategic development of how we use digital channels to reach our goals.
Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a Hybrid model.
Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Manager, Digital Advertising.
Your primary responsibilities will be maintaining the Google Ad and Microsoft accounts of our company and analyzing the results to identify patterns and trends that can help us improve the efficiency of our campaigns. You will also be expected to improve our campaigns to help meet our department targets and maximize the return on our investment, through regular optimizations.
Launch, analyze and optimize search, video, demand gen, pmax and display campaigns regularly.
Analyze and optimize keywords, search terms, ad copy headlines/descriptions, images, ad extensions, bid strategies, audience segments, device targeting, location targeting, and budgets.
Collaborate with several teams to help support marketing goals, advising them on optimal digital advertising strategy (Google and Microsoft Ads) to help meet product awareness/acquisition goals. This involves regular meetings.
Collaborate with the creative team to request deliverables and provide feedback based on best practice and historical performance, for the channels and campaigns.
Develop relationships with vendors and platforms and keep informed of all best practices and new ideas in the industry.
A degree, diploma or certification in digital marketing, related business field or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience creating and optimizing campaigns on Google Ads and Microsoft Ads. Google Ads Editor and Microsoft Ads Editor proficiency. Bulk uploads proficiency.
Google Ads Certification or Microsoft Ads Certification an asset (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
Expertise in conversion rate optimization, quality score, landing page optimization and digital ad copy writing skills.
Communicates clearly and comfortably with small and large teams.
Strong competency with using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to produce reports and presentations for key stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time and self-manage to adhere to multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Fluency in English (spoken and written).
Professional, accountable, with a team-oriented mindset and a collaborative approach.
Comfortable with using multiple professional/corporate tools to stay on top of projects/tasks, while keeping key stakeholders informed of status.
If you have used GA4 or ran programmatic campaigns, that is a bonus!
