Product Data Specialist (Information Technology)
As a Product Data Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all product-related data within the organization is accurate, consistent, well-organized, and optimized for e-commerce platforms.
This role requires a deep understanding of data management, taxonomy, and product content strategy to enhance product discoverability, sales conversion, and boost customer satisfaction.
In this role, the successful candidate is needed to be in the greater Vancouver, BC area, where we practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

What you'll do:
Develop and maintain accurate, up-to-date product information structures and hierarchies; manage bulk uploads/updates using tools like Excel and PIM (Product Information Management) systems.
Oversee continuous improvement of data processes, including data entry, validation, and reporting.
Establish and document data governance rules, best practices, and quality checks for product information management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on data requirements and standards, ensuring high data integrity.
Create and optimize product content to drive conversion and SEO performance; regularly review and update based on analytics and user behavior insights.
Ensure product categorizations, filters, and attributes align with customer search behaviors and industry standards.
Lead or support product data-related projects, coordinating with IT and development teams.
What we're looking for:
3 to 5 years of experience in product data management, eCommerce, or a similar role.
Provide leadership and data management expertise for product data projects, steer initiatives, and work closely with IT to ensure alignment and data precision.
Experience with PIM, DAM, CMS, or ERP systems is highly preferred.
Familiarity with product data feeds, API integrations, and e-commerce standards.
Skilled in analyzing and mining data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, interpreting complex data sets to uncover actionable insights, and implementing corrective measures.
Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
A bachelor's degree in information management, Ecommerce, digital marketing, or a related field is a bonus.

Annualized base pay range
$65,000.00 - $70,000.00Starting pay offered will consider skills and experience. Your pay can grow as you build your career with us.
