Business Development Executive, Mid Market (Hybrid) (Sales)
Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity
You will be accountable for Moneris' national account revenue, including selling payment processing, value-added services and solutions offered by Moneris, growth, and profitability on national account clients. This includes signing contracts for merchant services, developing a pipeline of prospects and leads and responding to RFP's as assigned. For optimum success in this role, taking initiative, resourcefulness, building collaborative relationships, being authentic, flexible and adaptable are necessary .
Location: You will be based in our Montreal office and will work in a Remote model.
Reporting Relationship: You will report to Manager, Business Development – National).
Your Moneris Career - What you'll do
Prospect new clients that have been determined to be national size prospects.
Sell an array of products and services offered by Moneris to meet the requirements of net new merchants.
Create proposals and presentations targeted at solving our needs of prospects.
Negotiate pricing, contract terms and conditions to ensure that pricing and terms reflect the achievement of corporate goals.
Using a consultative sales approach, consult with clients, ensuring achievement of individual financial targets driven from organization goals and targets.
Stay current and educating clients on industry trends, competition, competitive issues and products, and the card services industry.
Your Moneris Career - What you bring
Degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing or a related field.
At least 5 years of strategic sales or business development, with experience in strong sales results.
Experience developing client relationships and presenting to C-suite executives.
Strong client-service orientation, negotiation and communication skills, and networking abilities.
Industry knowledge to understand payments market and different business and pricing models considered an asset.
25% Travel is required for the role and a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
