IVVQ Test Specialist (Manufacturing)
Position Summary
Thales Canada, Defence & Security is engaged in supporting the Canadian Army's Land Command, Control, Communications & Computers (C4) Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (LC4ISR) systems which enable critical decisions on a daily basis. Together with industry partners, Thales is building on the existing networks and applications to enhance digitized operations, support communications between joint and allied forces, and monitor and defend against the threats and evolving capabilities of potential adversaries.
To support our growth, the IVVQ team (Integration, Verification, Validation, and Quality Team) is looking to add an IVVQ Test Engineer to their team based in Ottawa. The IVVQ Engineer plays a critical role as part of the Ottawa Engineering team responsible for the design, conduct, and reporting of IVVQ activities.
8-10+ years of experience

Special Position Requirements
Please note that this role will involve office/lab work as well as working at client site(s). Travel may be required.
Test sites can be located in difficult-to-navigate areas. This could include shipyards, construction sites, remote wilderness locations. Although infrequent, such sites may need to be used for certain test events. The ability to navigate such sites is a necessity.
Minimal lifting of test and electronic equipment in a lab or field environment.
