Position Summary
Thales Canada Defence & Security (TCDS) is looking for a Logistical Support Analysis (LSA) Manager. The LSA Manager is the responsible for LSA across the organization. They are also the Resource Manager for the LSA team.
As an LSA Manager you are responsible for overseeing the creation, and development of maintenance task analysis (MTA), Failure modes and effects/criticality analysis (FMEA/FMECA), level of repair analysis (LORA), life cycle costing (LCC) and sparing analysis. This role ensures that all supportability requirements required to support a system or platform through its full life cycle are considered and captured in the LSA. The manager leads a team of technical logistical support analyst's and collaborates with various departments to gather necessary information and ensure consistency.
The LSA manager reports to the TCDS ILS Manager (Head of Discipline).
Key Areas of Responsibility
The main responsibilities are:
As a Resource Manager:
- Provides appropriate resources to deliver bids, projects and products.
- Plans the team's workload in the short, medium and long term.
- Develops team skills to support bids, projects and products.
- Supports recruitment, onboarding, performance management, career management and succession planning for the team.
- Coaches, mentors and develops the team.
- Leads the team to meet company expectations for productivity, chargeability, quality, continuous improvement and accomplishment of objectives.
- Ensures that company policies and procedures are followed, including timesheets, time off, and travel
As the TCDS LSA Manager:
-Responsible for the establishment, standardization and evolution of processes, procedures and tooling for LSA.
- Ensures that the LSA processes, procedures and tooling meet the current and future needs of the bids, projects and products.
- Responsible for development of lessons learned and the sharing of knowledge and experience across the technical LSA discipline.
- Responsible for bid, project and product estimates for the technical publication discipline.
- Implement and sustain the LSA capability.
- Perform LSA Planning and Management.
- Responsible for subcontractor LSA requirements and activities.
As a member of the Technical Publication team:
- Responsible for performing LSA work on bids, projects and products.

Special Position Requirements
The anticipated Total Target Compensation (TTC), inclusive of annual salary and bonus eligibility, for this role is $101,038.15 - $176,126.92 CAD Annual. The Company reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's status protected by local, provincial, and federal laws.
