Night Float Worker - Corman Park, SK (Personal Services)

Join our team as a Night Float Worker!
In this overnight role, you'll provide essential support to both our participants and team, conducting safety checks of our facilities and working together to ensure everyone's well-being. You'll also play a key role in identifying and reporting any incidents or issues, helping us continuously improve our services.
Qualifications
Education and Certification
- High school diploma required.
- Certificate, diploma, or degree in Child and Youth Care (CYC) or related field is an asset.
Experience
- At least one (1) year of experience working with individuals facing behavioral, cognitive, mental health, or developmental challenges.
- Experience with night shifts is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities
Services
- Collaborate with and support the residential team.
- Engage actively with participants.
- Conduct safety checks and maintain the living spaces.
- Adapt to supervision needs based on participants' requirements.
- Provide care for individuals with complex needs.
- Assist with morning routines and activity planning.
- Follow procedures for participants who are absent without leave (AWOL).
- Report any issues or policy breaches to supervisors.
- Manage conflicts and crises with supportive strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Perform other relevant duties as needed.
Leadership
- Offer guidance and support to team members.
- Uphold positive role modeling and demonstrate agency values.
- Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team when required.
Management of Resources
- Perform nightly inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs.
- Submit receipts and reconcile expenses as per guidelines.
- Maintain accurate vehicle log entries when using agency vehicles.
Safety
- Promote and practice safe work habits.
- Comply with agency and government policies and procedures.
Additional Requirements
- Complete all mandatory training as per agency policy.
- Hold a Class 5, Novice 2 or higher driver's license, with eligibility for our commercial auto insurance.

Wage range for this position is $24.09 to $31.15 per hour.
