As an enterprise architect you will help our product teams understand the enterprise architecture landscape, participate in their solutions by guiding and influencing teams to deliver strategic business goals. You will have architecture responsibilities for the areas of Retail Relationships, Marketing, Pricing, C-MDM, CDP, Customer Journey, Personalization, Segmentation, Membership, Loyalty, Digital communications.
We practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions at our head office, in beautiful Vancouver, BC, for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

What you'll do as an enterprise architect:
Provide leadership while collaborating with technology teams, business teams and technical leaders in system architecture, design principles, reference architecture, integration patterns and selection of technology
Deliver strategic and forward-looking enterprise IT application roadmaps for customer journey and corporate experience that are focused on business and technology capabilities.
Ensure solution design is aligned with the target domain architecture leveraging cloud, people, ownership, automation and data pillars
Partner with technology teams to design integrated IT solutions, including the build vs. buy decision, that is in line with the technology strategy and adhere to established IT technology standards (infrastructure, application, integration, data, and security)
Partner with Product, Engineering, Data and Digital Experience leaders to drive transformative change to meet the strategic outcomes
Provide mentorship and guidance to technical leads, developers, and other stakeholders on architectural best practices, guidelines, and standards
Provide architecture consulting to delivery teams (design, build, test, cutover) for business and technical projects.
Leverage event-driven architecture enabling integrations to SaaS and on-premise solutions using Azure Cloud, Kubernetes (RedHat OpenShift), Java, Node.js, React, AMQP-based messaging and both relational and NoSQL databases.
What we're looking for:
5+ years of hands-on consumer facing enterprise architecture experience
Experience in team-based software development and delivery projects
Experience with one of the enterprise marketing tech platforms (such as Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Marketing tools, Twilio, etc.)
Deep understanding of various marketing technologies, including marketing automation platforms, Advertising tech, CDP, and analytics tools
Experience with customer journey orchestration tools for personalized customer experiences
Strong collaboration and communication skills to engage with multiple people across the organization
Strong understanding of technical application development with hands-on experience of SQL databases, Java & microservices architecture.
Have an understanding of retail and ecommerce domains
Experience working within an agile enterprise architecture environment
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, and/or related discipline/experience

Annualized base pay range
$129,000.00 - $142,000.00This role has bonus components in addition to annualized base pay.Starting pay offered will consider skills and experience. Your pay can grow as you build your career with us.
