Job Description and Responsibilities
The primary function of the Electrical Technologist will be to design, install, maintain, program, configure and troubleshoot electrical machinery, controls, industrial automation and data acquisition systems.
The Electrical Technologist responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Provide a morning report from electricians to electrical supervisor
Receives and/or prepares wiring diagrams, specifications and instructions covering the scheduled and emergency repairs, installation and inspection work to be done.
Qualifications:
Electrical engineering technologist diploma.
Red Seal Journey Electrician preferred.
1-5 years working in an industrial manufacturing environment
Experience with electrical controls, transmitters, valves, drives, temperature, measuring devices and programmable logic controllers and automation software
Must be willing to work shift work (days and nights)
Strong communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Good problem solving and analytical skills.
Compensation:
$47.75/hr
